The 175th Assault Helicopter Company was stationed at Vinh Long, Republic of Vietnam during the years 1966-1972. The radio call sign for the two transport or slick platoons was the Outlaws. Mavericks was the call sign for the charlie model gun platoon. The support platoon, which had extra duties supporting the airfield, were the Road Runners. The 1968-1989 Yearbook was written using one Polaroid camera, one typewriter, and no yearbook experience. 500 copies were published in Taipai, Taiwan.  Copies were distributed to the troops on site or for whom the company had stateside addresses.
